Tanzbüro Berlin collaborates with its partners on improving working and production possibilities for performing artist in Berlin. We initiated several working groups and participate at various movements in order to strengthen dance as an autonomous art form.

Since December 2008, representatives of TanzRaumBerlin Network, Laft Berlin e.V. and Tanzbüro Berlin have been collaborating in a workgroup to deal with the cultural budget of the Berlin senate. The goal of this workgroup is to increase the budget for supporting theaters and theater / dance groups organized according to private law in order to introduce a minimum level for honorariums within this support system. ... more

Up until recently the support system for the performance arts has been regulated according to the "Allgemeinen Anweisung zur Förderung von privatrechtlich organisierten Theatern und Theater/Tanzgruppen", valid until June 30, 2008.
