CompanyHAA extends an invitation to a three-day festival
The four-person dancer collective CompanyHAA is dedicated to exploring the human condition across all disciplines. A rather substantial undertaking that the company dares to tackle with the tools of improvisation and Instant Composition at its three day festival in the AckerStadtPalast. The first piece is "Spazio Rado – Aukio", a sketch of dance, sound and light that outlines the concept of "Heimat" (home) as an intimate feel-good zone, a place of retreat yielding hope and a shelter for subconscious desires. "Smell.Me.Ordinary.Piece", the second duet in the program, illuminates the erotic and violent aspects of brutality, whereby violence is interpreted as a side effect of blurring cultural boundaries and as an instinctive defense of privacy. Justyna Kalbarczyk transforms the harmonious swarming behavior of starlings, which repels attacks from prey animals, into "The Art of Murmuration" for the stage. The dance film "Sisters" is presented as an accompanying digestive.
