LAB1 is a new workshop series and was born to create a space for sharing teaching and choreographic practices with dancers from various backgrounds.
A unique opportunity to delve into three distinct choreographic languages and movement research methodologies, learning from 3 highly professionals: Maria Colusi, Enrico Paglialunga, Sonia Rodriguez.
Over the course of three days we will explore Contemporary technique, Contemporary Charleston, Improvisation and Gyrokinesis. Participants will engage in exercises designed to enhance musicality, spatial awareness, and the flexibility to adapt approaches to set material. But you will also collect lots of new choreographic and teaching tips/skills.
Open to professional dancers as well as dance students and amateurs with solid dance backgrounds.
You can attend 3days or only 2days.

Workshop Structure:
Morning : 2-hour session led by one of our three rotating choreographers. Warm-up, technique and exploration of the choreographer's unique language
Pause 1 hour
Afternoon: The three choreographers meet in a 2-hour session, exploring the intersections of their diverse choreographic languages. A collaborative approach to stimulate creativity and explore learned material and improvisation in an encouraging and challenging group dialogue.
